Platform and Artist Led St Helens Privacy Policy

Platform Studios is a voluntary organisation that provides studio space for artists and Artist Led St Helens is an instagram account that shares and promotes artistic activity within the town of St Helens. Claire Weetman and Gee Collins are two of the artists involved in these projects and are delivering a piece of commissioned research for St Helens Council under the umbrella of Artist Led St Helens/Platform Studios. This privacy policy will explain how we use the personal data we collect from you when you use our website or attend one of our events.

What data do we collect?

If you participate in an event that is part of the ‘Delivering St Helens Creatives Development Programme Commission’ we may request the following:

  • Personal identification information (Name and email address)

  • Demographic data (Postcode, Gender, Ethnicity, Age Range, Disability)

  • Your opinions about the activity that we run (via evaluation forms)

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Voluntarily complete a survey or provide feedback via online or printed forms

How will we use your data?

We collect your data so that we can:

  • Respond to your queries, or contact you in future about studio space if you have expressed an interest.

  • Email you about events or artistic opportunities that we think you may be interested in.

  • Report to our funders about who took part in our funded activities using anonymously completed forms.

If you give consent when completing a project form, we will share your personal contact information with our partner organisations so that they may continue to stay in touch once our funded project has ended.

How do we store your data?

We securely store your data on our password-protected online cloud services. Any hard copy paperwork will be stored confidentially and shredded once inputted to our digital documents.

We will keep your personal identification information until consent is withdrawn as per the data sharing agreements and at that point the details are to be deleted from systems. We will delete your data by deleting the securely stored documents, or deleting old emails.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our funding partners.
